But seriously though, it really does mean a lot to me that you like my art style... even if I don't feel like shading things and just post sort of sketchy stuff. I've been in a pretty bad funk since it dawned on me that my style hasn't been changing as drastically as it had been in the past and it's sort of made me feel really frustrated and unhappy with it. I think part of it's been the fact that I tried to smooth out my lineart and make it less sketchy, but it sort of ended up making everything look stiff (plus, I've always sort of drawn with thick, sketchy lines and it's really hard for me to keep a steady hand after six/seven years of drawing like that hfkvfkv). I gave up on that recently and it's made the linearting process much faster, so I'm slowly pulling myself out of that rut

And really, for my point of view (and flattery aside)- I think your style is really unique. I see many people that strive for straight lines and clean pictures to the end of the world. I'm almost like that, but I kind of changed my point of view when I saw your work for the first time. If I asked anybody who knew you, they'd likely say they loved the way you do your lines. I really don't know how you pull it off, but it's captivating in its own way. It's YOURS from what I see- I've never seen anybody do the things you before, or better yet, do it so well. I think it makes you unique- your own designs and just your imagination it itself makes your art really amazing, just adding your way with the lines just gives everything you draw this shining personality, which I think is the biggest thing you so masterfully pulled off (I don't know how many times I can just look at a thumbnail of your art and know the exact nature of the character~!) It's rigid and real and fascinating all around.
I really hope you never drastically change simply for the sake of changing- in all honesty, I think your style really shows who you are. From what I see, I think you're a pretty confident person who can bring out the best in the things most artist avoid. I may be wrong, but I think your art and everything in that gallery says otherwise.
I hope you know that you're pretty much one of my biggest inspirations here on DA- I pretty much envy and worship you at the same time. ; u ;
(And yessss levi's a boss. Anyone, anything, or any animal that has levi in their names are automatically considered a boss. :U)
