The amount of detail in this is making my head hurt. I can't even imagine how long something like this would take to complete. Did you begin with a key or a lock?

Wow, this is amazing, so realistic! Would it be alright to write about this piece for my A level sketchbook? You'd, of course, be properly credited. I'm kind of confused about the title though, how does 'Chasing Rainbows' relate to padlocks and keys?

thanks, no problem - i like to keep the titles a bit ambiguous and not so straight forward .. lets the viewer think and come to another, perhaps more personal meaning to the work - for me this one hints towards personal accomplishment and the barriers we need to break in order to find personal success
