EDIT: Y'all can finally crit this pic. And I changed it to *my* wallpaper size too. .3.Okay guys, I'm starting one of my personal projects: Making wallpapers of OCs I like. Derpderp.
The first candidate(s)? The twins Ashbringer and Cliffstrider. I absolutely love their designs. <3
Was just going to draw one, but one twin always requires another to become badass.
I kinda mashed their G1 and TFA modes together. Pardon the errors, ly. :c
And I managed to pick the correct colours to mix n' blend. WITHOUT MESSING WITH THE FILTERS.
*cough* This is gonna be my wallpaper.

I tend to disregard the faction symbols because frankly, they wouldn't fit in. Their arms are short because they're bent towards the viewer. 
Those two black bars were made as a filler so that the picture can fit as my wallpaper without any unnecessary stretching. And no, they're not really battling each other. idk but they're sorta... frolicking about in some ethereal place. jeeze I should really plan things out before I draw
Although... looking back at this piece, I found out tons of other errors you haven't listed out, but thanks for critiquing anyway! :'D

heh.. ^^' as much as i would have like to point them out..so far i see no other problem... shadows are no use here and thank you for explaining so that pain purpose of ALL this is mostly oh a wall paper... but still.. the arms and legs are just OFF my my part... they may be something there that you for got..

Something's DEFINITELY wrong about their anatomy. Their legs are too long and well, maybe you're right, their arms are too short. Oh well, back to anatomy class for me!

YAH know play with the light a bit ^^ from center or even under there could have bin better results since they are in a... odd dimension.

i love the background and the coloring u did is PHENOMINAL! they were drawn very well too. G1 and TFA have SUCH different styles and u did a good job combining the 2

I see texture used on TFs so often, but the way you do, is one of the best, really... its looks fine and decant and not to bolt!
Also the coloring and the glowiness are awesome ><
