Description
A commission for exalted, one of the first i'd done for them, along with the Exalted-Fire lion commission and a few others.Depicts one of the Fae commanding some of his servants and soldiers against a woodland tribe.

I'm liking the movement within the picture a lot - the poses are all really well-done for the most part.
The weaker aspects of the picture, I think, are the characters at the very right side of the picture, and the face at the very right-bottom of the picture: I think a little more time to get the details a bit better would've been ideal.
Overall, though, very nice job. w00t w00t!

You are absolutely right. ^_^ This was one of my earlier works, and i was trying to complete them within a deadline, so i think the quality suffered for it. Something i regret to this day is not being always able to do a piece justice.

Mm, yes, I do know that feeling. And I guess it's possible to go back and edit it or something, but to me that's just not how a work of art lives, I don't know; I have trouble thinking of art as simply a project or something, y'know?
But yeah. It's still quite the nice piece, and I do indeed like it, as I said before ^_^

Thank you, i'm glad you agree. ^^ I always like to think of art as a passion, not a project, but sometimes it can come off feeling like plain old work. Satisfying work, to be sure, but work just the same.

I know the feeling, for sure; it's the same with writing, unfortunately. I think it's because we humans don't like buckling down and concentrating on something once it gets less-than-easy to do, y'know?
