Description
A commission of a friend of mine as a Space Marine of the Space Wolf chapter, from Warhammer 40k. Tried to keep it in the same heavy shadow style as the graphic art in the Space Wolf Codex. It was fun to paint, and developed fairly quickly.Battle Litany of the Space Wolves:
We are the wolf that stalks
The stars in the sky
And swallows the star-fire
We hide amongst the night
When light is gone
The Light is within us
We run the ruin of Fire
In the darkness
Foes burn in our passing

The amount of stuff going on around him, from his clothing to that eagle to his gun, is mind blowing! Love the imaginative suit and proportions you used in this drawing, and I really like the metallic details you gave the axe ^^
