I really loved the way you constructed Roscoe'sΒ anatomy, and of course, your football drawings <33 , hope you'd want to do more movement studies of football players, I really enjoy them with passion

Yo, Aurens & Ali is like one of my favorite bromances in any movie ever. That movie is really phenomenal, not to mention gorgeous, it's hard to not wanna draw fanart every time I watch it. Specially every time I see him walk across the top of the train.

I'm glad it sparked that kind of response, means I'm doing something right aye? (Btw I'm planning on finishing that one once I get a new tablet pen, mines wonking out to much for me to finish it atm, but I really like the pic myself so you should see a finalized piece in the near future.)

Ah, that's great to hear ! C:Β  I can't wait to see it! Heck, I'd gladly buy it as a print actually! This bromance is also really dear to my heart and this movie keeps getting deeper every time I watch it. So seeing them drawn in your style is just the best thing!

Glad to hear, yeah it's probably not hard to tell he plays favorites on me cause he's been around longer than the other 3 boys. Always drawing him. Can't help but always wanna draw him.

You're really great at drawing boys (and girls as well, surely xD). I'm also impressed with how you manage to keep theirΒ facial features always the same. Let's say I also draw people, but sometimes their features are just all over the place (or face) phaha, they still may look similar, but in some ways they are always different. And it's not something that I'd really like to be able to do. So I still have lots of things to learn and to practice to improve my skills. Er... Oh well, never mind me xDΒ

I suppose alot of that has to do with me doing alot of portrait art for a long time. (Infact I always wanna add like 10 pounds of more details to their faces every time I draw but I try to keep my style as simple as I can, even though it still teeters on being detail heavy) I'm also one of those weirdo's who just obsesses over faces, I'm always studying people, and the little subtleties, the shapes and stresses that make up their face. That's not to say that I don't mess up alot or stay consistent. Lefty's face gives me trouble alot of the time and if you look you can see where I've sort of strayed here and there, maybe the just overall character is there so it kind of hides it. Also even take Harvey, his face changed quite alot his first few years and has only sort of stayed consistent since I re-designed him.

Don't worry, we are all constantly learning and improving, and the more you draw a particular character the more their look becomes like the face of a friend or family member, and you know what little things make them look like them and it will be easier for you to be more consistent.

Let it be just three words: practice makes perfect
Even if his face changed, he still remainsΒ recognizable during all those years Not only a character himself, but most of his features. I guess for you it's more evident what details changed and what didn't since you're an artist and a creator and you're supposed to notice that all. As for me, I might not notice some details unless I try to draw a character, because my hand is likely to remember more than my eyes do Β
I wouldn't say I really worry about it, it's just... I always remind myself that I need to improve and so I try to do it with my every drawing attempt Β
And thank you for the tips! Β
