I'm not sure when I'll next draw a figure in a suit, but I'll definitely be looking back to what you said about colour contrasting!

Huh. That's not the type of tutorial one sees everyday. This is definitely interesting to think about.
I definitely had the feeling that I was reading something from an older book on fashion as I went through this. You really got that across well

This is so detailed and awesome! At the moment, I have no interest in creating guys in suits, but I will definitely favorite this piece just to keep it on hand!

Haha no problems! Alot of the color and contrast bits work outside of drawing suits!

Well there are so many things about the suit that make me love it! The more you learn the more beautifully epic it is!

This is insanely useful. Never knew there was so much to a suit, never having worn one. You've introduced me to a crazy subtle way of giving someone more character.

I'm glad you like it! And yeah, you can use this the make the person look nice, or go in another direction with it. I know Woody Allen would wear his dark glasses to make his light hair and skin look even more pastey and akward looking haha. Thanks for commenting!
I love your icon btw. XD

I just realized...your light coat on a person with a high-contrast face looks a LOT like Richard Nixon on that first TV presidential debate, where he got destroyed by Kennedy because he looked bad on TV--sick, in fact, just as you've described here, and had the facial features been different, they would've looked just like this image of Kennedy and Nixon standing next to each other. [link] I wonder if you were thinking of that when you drew that example?
You have a few typos and text-alignment issues here, but overall, I think this is a very nice, useful tutorial with a lot of things I didn't consider. I even suspect people who don't have a very good fashion sense could use this to help them dress in real life.

Haha That Nixon debate is probably the best example of how much thought needs to be put into a suit and why it's so important.
