I guess you also have a Mammoth named Manny and plan to get a Megatherium called Sid. ( Although Sid seems to be Megalonyx, a smaller species of ground sloth, eh, close enough. )

Actually, it only says that Sid is a Ground Sloth on the wiki, it never mentions what kind of sloth species he is.

Well, obviously Sid is not very realistic, but I think he is closer to Megalonyx than Megatherium in look and size.

Maybe he's small because the creators might have modified Sid's design, see Cretaceous, Maelstrom and the dinos for example.

Cretaceous looks like it could be a marine crocodile. Probably Metriorhynchus. ( Wikipedia claims Ichthyosaurus )
Maelstrom is a Pliosaur according to Wikipedia. ( Not a very good one )
Whatever they are, they are not Dinosaurs.

I know. I also don't believe Cretaceous could be a dolphin-related creature, but i believe Maelstrom can be a Pliosaur. Also, the dinos in Ice Age aren't supposed to be that god damn big.

IchthyosauriaΒ are not related to dolphins. Dolphins resemble them due to convergent evolution.
