For years, Maxima Wann was born and raised as a princess in a cult that believed she would deliver them to paradise. But when she turned sixteen, she discovered that her family and the people she trusted were really preparing her to bring about destruction. She was rescued, but at a terrible price.

Now she's an adult, and during a time of the Blood Moon, when the shadow of evil exists everywhere, she's being confronted by forces from that past.
