this is nice
but the 'nickyb' text is pretty much lost in the shuffle - the semi-transparent circles dont add too much, and the vectors could be a little bit more circular in some parts - most notably, the outline of the heart doesnt quite match up to the lines inside. airplane icon is way, way overdone and totally unnecessary.
nice idea and some nice vector work tho. keep it up

I think its awesome, it has great depth because of the fading circular thingies - look like cool blood cells with membranes and all.
The colours are rich and contrast each other, a great piece.

i guess this is an old post, but the design you have here is really nice. i've been trying out things like that - vector art, i guess - but it never quite comes out like i want it to. How do you do the parallel lines, like the ones circling the heart, and then becoming the art itself...? thats amazing...i've been checking out some vector work here in da, and yours really stood out (among others).
could you give me some pointers...? you're using illustrator, right?

it's not overkill! well it might be but I have an excuse,
it was so god damn plain without the circle idea
then I tried adding new components to the comp, but it just looked less and less like a heart, which is the concept here..
SO circles it is, and I'm damn happy with them
