Im not a pro at animation...yet. um did you have to UV everything on that spidey because i just need to know all the facts that is an awsome mechanical spidey!

Yes, it is completely UV mapped. However I didn't have to unwrap, just used UVW modfier and UVW xforms... (3dsmax)

is maxwell anny good? is it like Vray that makes a instant good render?

Actually it is like Vray but makes a render in three days. This one took three days on a dual core laptop plus my computer helping every night (cooperative MXIs)

amen to that I can spend hours a day, weeks on a project but when it comes to rendering, I am like a little child that whants my things right now!
But i think i will try out maxwell. and maby i can get over my problem
