We'd been fighting them for about 30 years.
Mostly small skirmishes here and there, with only a handful of fleet engagements.
So'Bal was one of our worst fights. lasted for almost 3 years,mostly planet-side warfare. we lost millions there.

We were caught off guard when they mustered the guts to come knocking on our door step. their main fleet ripped through the F.R.D.F, leaving the Orbital Colonies defenseless.
Earth's P.D.G made them think twice, but they're relentless when they want you dead.
Galdorian's aren't really known for good defense strategy. their strengths lie in brute force.
So when our main offensive fleet jumped into the fray, they turned tail and ran.
They always run...what giants they are.
Earth left in shambles, with millions dead, was able to pick herself back up with help from the remaining outer colonies.
Eventually the massive cities of Humanity's home-world stood once again.
Ready for retribution. ready to fight.
