Firefox Splash Screen Vista StyleZip includes 3 splash screens
I'm personally a little tired of Vista but figured I'd release this for those of you that are not
Install
1. You need Aldreneo's Splash ext get it here [link]
2. In Splash options change back ground color to transparent, under image locate one of my splashes included in the zip
3. Under Text click hide progress meter, and click ok.
That's it Enjoy!

nice splash, I change the background color to transparent but there's still a black square in the background, any idea? is there something that I should put under window style?

Well I'm using a different version of the splash .ext not out to the public yet but you can try putting in transparent in window style but someone else had the same problem you are having & it ended up being a conflict with the skin he was using so you might want to try changing that. Also thanks for the compliment I appreciate it by the way the black vista splash of mine has some other splash screens not shown in the preview so you might want to check it out. Hope the info helps abit if not let me know take care

Actually the photo was on DA along time ago but it has long since been removed and I don't think the photographer posted it anywhere else that I know of as to vista if I were you I'd wait about a year to make the move till it's abit more stable

I'm not a Mircosoft fan, I'd rather work with a Linux distro that makes me feel dumb than on a Windows distro that treats me like an idiot. Regardless, and thanks to piracy in my region of the world, testing out Vista Ultimate edition will cost me a few hours and less than $5. Nevertheless, I'm always in the market for unbaist critique. Vista offers things I always wanted in Windows, and although the system hugs resources like a bitch, I'd still want to give it a test-run.

Eh well if your in the know Vista wouldn't give you much problems that can't be fixed but for the normal consumer it could be more trouble than it's worth lol

ok, you find it. It isn't exactly possible since the author took it off his site. Plus if it didn't even come from dA there is a crap load of wallpapers out there and finding it would be next to impossible.

No problem wofka...the photo was done by atomic x... it has long since been deleted from his gallery. The wallpaper is a mod done by me but since the original photo was his...I can't release it sry

lol yea wowhaxer but I modded it for personal use not for release...funny thing though some little ripper jacked it anyway lol and I notified the author to let him know..knew it wasn't in his gallery anymore so asked him if I could release it to prevent theft but he said he would appreciate it if I didn't... so I respect his wishes
