Frost simply rolls his eyes with a smile. He stands up and pays for his drink before walking out and throwing his coat over his large, stout shoulders. His mind races. Hes done with the whole Cirrus thing. Tired of talking about her, dealing with her, sticking up for her, and fighting under her. He had no anger in his thoughts. Just a bit of regret. He had tried for her, but it seemed it wasn't getting him anywhere. He knew Contrail liked her, only denied ot because it was Frost. He was completely covinced she was out of his league. Of course, Frost didn't much care. He had more to deal with than a stuck up Captain. He had to kill Armor. It was the only way to end what Armor ad started. Let Con have Cirrus, he didn't care. He had no more than a small crush and she never thanked him for being by her side, so what does she deserve him for. Con deserved better, but good luck telling him that. Rain was nothing but an annoyance to Frost but Trouble was stuck on her betrayal. He often tried to tell Trouble she was blind, but he would simply walk off to escape bak to the can of Grizzly Skoal he enjoyed.
"Most mares aren't such fools.", Frost thought. He was bout to leave the airbase anyway. Back to the Lunan stronghold. Where Frost ruled. Where he called shots. A higher rank than Cirrus and her loyalist hadn't meant much to them here, but once he was back in his barracks with his dog Duce he loved, he wouldΒ just fine.
"Without me here..", he thought, "She'll need someone to have her back."
He smiled.
"Then Con will finally have the one he wants.", He thought, "He deserves something good. Just, not such a smartass."
He'd leave his 'squad' here for his Delta50 commerades he missed. It'd be back to his top guns and elite dogs. And deep down, he would miss the soldiers here. Because, no matter how ungrateful, how annoying, how spiteful, how bad the attitude; he loved them. And there was nothing they could do to end that.
