Yeah, okay, its kinda shit, but I'm not very good at this
This is the first thought I had when I saw relhom 's WDC_56 (relhom.deviantart.com/art/WDC-β¦ ). Β All credit to his lovely photography.

Well the 'stem' is just a green 'colour' overlay. Β For the petals I just took each half of the splash and warped/cloned them and left them in 'multiply'. Β Its a bit darker than the original because the warping made it too blurry, but sharpening the image made it look too pixel-y so I copied the layer, sharpened it up and then set the opacity to 50%.
