Do they actually keep accurate time? Are they actually running off the gears?

Maybe this question will look strange, but does anything on this moves? I mean, does anything works something (like maybe watches working or similar) or all just stands?
It is just curiosity, I love it anyway and it looks amazing, I just can't help myself but asking

epic. I've just got into the steampunk stuff but I cant get enough, any tips for amateur fans who want to create stuff like this? Do you know how its going to look before you're done or do you just build as you go along? also when you create the unique stuff around your edges and top do you buy the parts individually or are they all sourced from clocks? LOVE IT. One of my favorite sculptures I think I've ever seen.

I'm so glad that you liked my work! I buy any interesting parts (mostly watches) I see. When I have collected many parts, I start to put together what ever comes in my mind.

So... if you ever figure out the power source necessary to get it to move you through time, at least you'll know what time it is when you get where you're going.
Good thinking.
