your rack is actually cool; I am like an organized neat freak. Anyways I also have a few ds games. For a none gamer who is not good at games I really liked this system. every year for christmas I got a ds games when it first came out. I did sale a few games I didn't like. I used to play the sims but after a while it got my nerves, I had the hotel one( the aliens kept evading my hotel...it was annoying to me after a while) and the cast away one. I currently have : the mario and sonic olympic ,I had the drawn to life spongebob edition but didn't like it . I hAve the spongebob big cook off ( faV),COOKING MAMA 2, HIGH SCHOol musical senior year 3, boogie, lego rock band, ultamate rock band, mario vs. donkey kong, hidden objects,are you smarter then a 5th grader?, chief gormet, sushi acadamy, imagine reporter ( not liking it), cross words, mario party , rock band 3, ultamate moral kombat, imagine movie star, rune factory ; a fantasy harvest moon, where waldo? and scribblenauts . so if i am not reading I am playing these

Wow that sounds pretty interesting as Vile, actually. I guess I would get the game just to see for myself how everything works out, although I'd definitely turn off the volume while playing.

This is so cool! Other than my brother, you're the only one who seems to be able to hold up a conversation about videogames! Most of my friends tell me to stfu after 5 minutes of me talking about videogames. One of my friends is a gamer, but she doesn't really have access to all the cool things that are out there. I tell her all these neat RPGs, but she doesn't have a DS, which heavily limits your options. I feel kind of bad for her...

Another one of my friends (who thinks she's a pro but is only really good at pokemon) always cuts me off by saying "do i have all my books for class" or "oh hold on a sec I have to go ask *insert somebody's name here*something." And then everything gets off topic. She also a noob at games, since she needed to cheat in Super Princess Peach. That was the easiest game I ever played!

I wish I had more friends that were into videogames. My brother says by the end of highschool, I'll probably end up being friends with more guys than girls, but somehow I don't see that happening lol

I don't have it since I don't have a psp, but I heard some of the music from the game. Mega Man is suppose to be metal! Not... something that isn't metal! That's why I find all the best music is from the earlier X games.

I don't really know if I'd get it or not (if i had a psp), but they destroyed armoured armadillo's song, and that's what I was really pissed about!!! That was one of my favourite songs in the whole game!!! *sigh*

I saw a video of a guy playing as Vile my brother and I were like wtf?! Vile was originally a maverick hunter (or so I think) but by then he's gone maverick!! I don't understand how the game is supposed to work as Vile.

If you're playing as Vile, then what happens when Zero is suppose to save saves X's life from Vile in the beginning stage? Or when he sacrifices himself to protect X? What happens to all those scenes? We also saw that the Sigma stage changed, is it all the sigma stages that changed? I'm assuming the starting stage also changed, or at least at the end when Zero is suppose to make his appearance (otherwise it'd be pretty messed up if Vile had to fight himself lol).

It just seems so weird...

I've never heard of it, but it does sound like the type of game my brother and I would like (I don't play a lot of side scrolling shooter games but anything to get my mind off of Mega Man X nowadays lol). I'll look into it and pester him about it lol

And is it just me, or do you have that Maverick Hunter Mega Man X (or whatever it's called) game for the psp? Or is it something else?

Actually that was my first time playing Metal Slug (and actually we were playing metal slug anthology) and I had a lot of fun beating the crap out of enemies. I also like the fact that you can knife people if they're close to you.

Isn't it funny how in games such as contra and metal slug, most of the enemies take more than one hit to be killed but you die as soon as a tiny little ball of doom hits you? It'd be too easy if you could kill enemies in one hit, but still it's kind of funny.

lol yeah I know I just beat Contra today with my brother, and then we beat a whole bunch of metal slug games. That was awesome!! But it's not necessarily the button mashing that hurts.

My left hand on the snes controller is positioned normally. My right on the other hand, is positioned in a way where my wrist is on a 65 degree angle most of the time and well... it's basically like an upside-down, reversed "L". Lol I'm so messed up, it's hard to describe, but the point is, I position my right hand in a REALLY messed up way that's sure to destroy my right wrist.

Yeah I guess changing the control configuration helps but I can't really do that 'cause I play mega man x on the snes. I have X collection but it feels weird playing the first X game with anything other than a snes controller since I've been playing it like that for about 10 years now. I'm sooooooo going to get arthritis when I'm 20...

Is it just me or do mmx games hurt your fingers and hands to play? I mean, the way you have to position your hand to jump, shoot/charge and dash... it kills my right wrist.

I don't have Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins, so I wouldn't know if it's easy or hard. But, my brother says that he heard it's pretty hard, just definitely not as hard as the others. At least, if that game is as easy as you say, it won't haunt you forever like some of the games I own did to me.

I find X6 hard but if the boss of the game is easy, then that's nice to hear (I WILL beat that god damn game one day!!) And I agree when you say Sigma in X4 is hard. The first two forms are easy, but the last one with the... I don't know what the hell you'd call them, that kind of troubled me for a while.

Well excuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, princess!!!! I may be stubborn enough to try and beat Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts every so often, but I won't try to beat X6 for a while. That game... IT HAUNTED MY CHILDHOOD!!!! I remember trying to beat X6 a long time ago on a hot summer day. It sucked and I'm horrible at that game. I'll beat it eventually though!

But still, the ghouls 'n ghosts series is really hard. Heck!! Ys the Ark of Napishtim is hard! And actually I think Ys is the hardest game I've ever played. The bosses kill you in 3 hits. ON NORMAL. They always have some sort of pattern to make it easier, but it takes a while to notice these things in a game where you're constantly worrying about dodging every little thing. It's like... my brother described it as a REALLY hard Zelda game. Speaking of which, you should get Ys the Ark of Napishtim; it may be hard, but it's really good!!!

My favourite X game is the first one, then again I grew up with that one... but it's just so great! I remember in the beginning stage when you have to get your ass kicked by Vile and he's about to finish you off, but then ZERO COMES IN AND BLOWS OFF VILE'S ARM!!! I still remember thinking "Oh my god he's so cool!!!" and I was like 4 back then lol (and obviously nobody could forget the sacrifice he made to protect X)

X6 is really hard and frustrating so I was never able to beat it. Even if I try to do the bosses in order, I'll end up getting to that museum level one way or another and that's the stage I dread the most (actually I also hate Blaze Heatnix's stage)... I never played long enough to learn any cool tricks, but years ago I was stubborn enough to try and beat the Sigma stages... which never happened.

And I guess I'll stay away from X7 lol, well at least it has cool box art!

Cool which one was your favourite? And I see you have X7... Is it really as bad as people say it is? I've seen videos on youtube of people playing it and at one point there was so much lag that Zero's hair disappeared!!

Sold your snes? Wow... did you at least have a decent reason? Like maybe you wanted to buy other videogames but didn't have the money? I can't imagine life without my snes I play it nearly every week! Especially Mega Man X. I beat that game 20 times last summer lol
