I wouldn't have used the rule of thirds for this picture, I love the composition just as it is....it has a classical romantic feel to it.

The lamp is a bit too much in the middle of the pic to be interesting. Else good structures and shapes.

The rule of thirds is something ... it is here quite complicated due to the strong diagonal shadows.
Call it a feeling - but if you kill the top and left frame it could look more tense.
Nonetheless leave it that way. There is a reason that I made thoughts about the image!
