As some of you may have already found out, Hasbro has been planning lately to end Friendship Is Magic after its ninth season and once again completely reboot the My Little Pony franchise for its fifth generation. Judging by countless concept art leaked on the internet, they seem to be planning to keep the Mane Six, only to switch their races around. Like Twilight would no longer be a unicorn/alicorn and Pinkie Pie would be a Pegasus.Which got me to thinking; Why completely revise and reboot a version of this decades-old franchise that people have come to know well and hold dearly in their hearts...when you can just keep it the way it is and simply give it a SPIN-OFF?
Here's what I was thinking; Flurry Heart, Shining Armor and Cadence's alicorn-born daughter, all grown up and taking center-stage as the series main character. She inherits the Element of Magic from her aunt Twilight Sparkle (now a full-grown alicorn princess, and ascended to the throne of Equestria), who is also her mentor, after making five friends of her own, all of whom inherit the other five elements. The entire series would center around FH and her friends as they learn the many values of friendship, while at the same time protect Equestria from any supernatural danger that threatens to destroy it. It would also center around FH's struggle to balance out both her life as a royal and her interactions with the world outside of Canterlot.

Excellent job on the artwork and info.
And, even if Season Nine IS the last season, it IS still possible that the characters could continue to be revisited in occasional Direct-To-DVD/Blu Ray adventures and/or crossovers with Generation Five if the latter does well enough.

I'll be honest, this is something I could see actually happen, if Hasbro plans to push MLP:FiM years into the future with their final season, which I can't say isn't competely far fetched, but I know Hasbro is gonna do their own thing, so we'll just have to wait and see.

I would definitely watch that. Β Especially if Flurry Heart gets sent to Ponyville to make friends because she got too wrapped up in her studdies.

this is better! twilight be a eath pony! no! the next gen mose be with flurry! see her story! twilight be married with her flash sentry! see sometime flurry foal sittin her little cousine! the dauther twilight! flurry see the birt of baby of the best friends of her anty twilight! flurry try her best learn of the magic of freindship and to control her magic and later she fond love her too! flurry with her freinds face the new evil! but and battle twilight and tirak who try rule world but twilight stop him! and flurry reform tirak and re-unite with his brother!

Excuse me, but that's just Rumors at this point. Hasbro has to confirm it either their Facebook or Twitter page. So don't go believing that just yet. :/
