So true to Gotham formThe colors and style are both an excellent reflection of that, but my favorite touch are the searchlights in the background.

Ah thank you. When I was a lot younger, my Gotham cities always turned out..well, like any other city. I had a long, but rewarding journey from then to now though figuring things out for myself. I'm glad you noticed the search lights too.

wooooow! Oh gosh, this is spectacular. The amount of detail is so delicious. I love all the dark colours and solid black shadows. It's so much like the real comics :3

It was fun to do and after doing so many pieces with this size, it only gets more challenging as I try to push the line work and composition on the limited space. However, whats life without some challenges right? Glad you dig the piece.

Nicely done.

You could call them ACEO instead of PSC.

True, ACEO is better than sketch card. I guess only reason I use sketch card is because everyone associates to that phrase due to the card market.

Woooh, at least it's good to know I'm doing them right. For a good while I thought I was crazy for doing these this way.

Was there any doubt you were doing them right?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DKuang In reply to TheDevlyn [2008-12-10 16:21:40 +0000 UTC]

Not much doubt because I was doing what I felt comfortable with, visually speaking. I did what I felt I'd want in a "sketch card" if I could get my grubby hands on one.

It's just strange when people say they're suppose to look a certain way, and in most cases its just excuses for amateurs and pro's alike to not put their best foot forward. That's not how I do things though, so I guess that doubt wasn't much.

I'm sure the door will hit me on my back end eventually though for being such an ass about things.
