Description It was a very miserable moment. I've got to make a very unfortunate announcement. A couple weeks ago, Toys R us was closed. Earlier this year, I watched an Oh Shiitake Mushrooms video about Toys R Us closing, and I never knew it was going to close. And then, someone of Toys R Us announced that the store was going to be completely closed by starting up a closing sale, and then on the 15th of this month, it was completely closed. My best toy store is closed, and I don't know what's gonna happen. I've been a fan of the Toys R Us logo since 2011 because of the lettering, and then I heard Chris Brown (Eyecue Design) made a font similar to the Toys R Us logo which no glyphs contained the glyphs C, S, M, W and 5, and then I fixed that in 2013 for the public. So... we're honoring Toys R Us, so... I love it so much.

(sniffs)

Goodbye Toys R Us, I miss you so damn much... You were my best toy store ever since I visited there four days before the year 2013.

That wasn't the only store that met its fate in 2018. The Bon-Ton also came along too. This included Bergner's, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's, and Younkers.

I love this store!
The only thing that I dislike is the stores such as Toys R Us going bankrupt and closed down. It hurts me! 😰😰

Uhrrrrgggggh... No fair!!!

I know... Toys R Us is dead.

EpicMerioGuy [2018-07-04 22:36:42 +0000 UTC]

I believe this was because of the kids lately. They don't give one *COOCOO CLOCK NOISE* about toys no more. They just want iPhones, iPads, Nintendo Switch's, and, you know, whatever system Fortnite is compatible on. See, here's the thing. While Toys R Us did sell Nintendo consoles (Did they?), they weren't selling phones or tablets or even laptops. Maybe if Toys R Us started selling iPhones, laptops, PS4s, etc., it wouldn't have gone out of business.

DLEDeviant, we are thrilled that Corus Entertainment, the owners of Treehouse TV in Canada, will enter the American market by acquiring all Toys R Us locations that are closed in the middle of this summer, and it will transform into Treehouse Playtown, a new place for games, songs, stories, and fun with current and classic Treehouse TV characters (such as Dora, Diego, Gil, Molly, Toopy and Binoo, Cush, Jackson, Lickety Split, and many others) featuring two or three TV's (with one TV being a simulcast of Treehouse TV and the other TV being a customized classic Treehouse channel including classic Treehouse TV shows), and it will retain the former Toys R Us mascots which will be known as main characters of the new Treehouse Playtown.

kaylor2013 In reply to CPSDeviant [2018-04-30 03:40:47 +0000 UTC]

CPSDeviant, it's not RIP because we're bringing back Toys R Us this mid-summer as sub-sections of Walmart (all the toys and kid-related stuff will be rearranged and revamped as a result) and we will be converting the former Toys R Us stores across the US into Treehouse Playtown (a US-based and Toys R Us-styled spin-off of Treehouse TV in Canada), so do you want to bring back Toys R Us (along with Geoffrey the Giraffe) as sub-sections of Walmart?

DLEDeviant In reply to Disneycow82 [2018-04-01 06:52:48 +0000 UTC]

They must've told them the store was closed worldwide.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

kaylor2013 In reply to DLEDeviant [2018-04-30 03:49:13 +0000 UTC]

Wow DLEDeviant, the re-opening of Toys R Us differs from the former Toys R Us stores which will be converting mid this summer into Treehouse Playtown, as will be as sub-sections at Walmart stores across the US starting mid-June!!!

As a result of the Toys R Us stores closing its doors, Geoffrey the Giraffe (its revised variant of the 2001 variant) will be moving to Walmart upon re-opening of Toys R Us and it differs from the 1999 version of Geoffrey which will be a new main character at Treehouse Playtown.

So now DLEDeviant, you want to bring back Toys R Us as sub-sections of Walmart this mid-June?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DLEDeviant In reply to kaylor2013 [2018-04-30 03:50:29 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm........

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

kaylor2013 In reply to DLEDeviant [2018-04-30 04:01:45 +0000 UTC]

Yes DLEDeviant, we are re-opening Toys R Us as sub-sections of Walmart this mid-June and we can't wait for it, and as a result of the Toys R Us stores across the US being closes its doors in preparation of converting into Treehouse Playtown, the toys and all kid-related stuff will be re-arranged when it re-opens this mid-June at Walmart stores nationwide, and it also marks the launch of a newly revised variant of Geoffrey the Giraffe which will be speak for the first time since the original Toys R Us stores closed this year, and also including six new puppet friends named Baby Gee, Tortoise, Little Tiger, Juno, Storymaker Lilly, and Cooky.

So are you ready to re-open Toys R Us which will be differed from the original stores that are closed due to bankruptcy, as sub-sections of Walmart this mid-June when all the toys and all kid-related stuff will get re-arranged and revamped?
