well now i have a new story to read, i guess.

Excellent! i like the god-rays coming through the trees, and the body paint on the "orcs?"
My only complaint is that the expressions on the creatures's faces looks almost exactly the same. i'd suggest adding some variation, maybe the youngest one excited about the hunt, the one in the front deadly serious etc.

They're actually goblins - in Tellest, I threw out some of the old conventions and tried to rework them. Β Orcs are on the side of good, and goblins are evil. Β The races look very similar to each other, but Leo did a fantastic job capturing these guys. Β This is one of my favorite covers by far!
