Guys, I was sketching this hero (my previous character in "Avatar" and "Alone") and i'm in doubt on the pose...I'd like to have some replies on which you prefer (and if you've time, why) to go on finish:
1) on left
2) on right
3) none, it's terrible
I've another doubt that come out when I've seen it at this point, seem like the character of Darkness or it's just my opinion?

I think this depends on the character. The left one looks more evil and aggressive to me, like he could attack me any time because there is nothing between me, the viewer, and the character. The right one is more defensive, like he expects to be attacked any time soon. But he looks like the good guy to me. Background adds to that feeling as well.
The longer I look at this, the more it feels like some twin-brother-final-showdown D:

Left one.But how about a pose he is nailing the sword to the ground/ice and it starts to crack? Do you think it would be too WoWish?

the left one. the other one looks odd, the way he's holding the sword, and the axe seems out of place,
