Cold Ned the HobgoblinPS drawing goin back a few years.
Liked the character a lot. might revisit him sometime...
"It was an old thing... Tall and thin like an Elf... but ugly, pale and all wrapped in rags and shadows... It was a thing out of its time, a dark forest sprite... a creature from the Land of Faerie... Hobgoblin...”

I dig the beast you have going on here. Very interesting, and your style is very clear.
I suppose my only critique for this would be the white and the decay surrounding the goblin. I feel like it distracts from the beast itself. The white and textures are just a little much in my opinion. The more blended decay/textures on the right side aren't bad at all, though, and even add to the piece. It's just the rest of it. But hey, that's just me.

aye, its a very old pic. the peculiar dissemination of the image into white at the left foreground was a bit of an experiment in PS.
Wanted the creature to be a vague presence in the shadowed portion of the image.
In many ways its not a good composition. Some colour use may have mitigated for that.
I'll probably have another go at ol' Ned at some point. I made quite a lot of the character in the FRP I wrote him for.
