Just an attempt at a pretty face. Havent tried to do anything clever with it.Drew it in PS using some randomly googled pic as general ref. Its certainly not a portrait of the subject in question, just a style exercise.
Bloody damn sight harder than all the gore and corruption I usually favour.

Some pretty stuff for a change? You're right, always a good thing to try other styles.
And it's quite a success! Yet if I was to crticize, i'd say the lips are the weakest part.
You could add some filthy background or another, just so it would fit better in you gallery.

as to the lack of background, it was never really intended as a complete picture. just a bit of an exercise.

I think it's good to challenge one's self, and I would agree about the grotesque stuff being a lot easier. Beauty seems to require far more symmetry, whereas the monsters can enjoy being as unbalanced as we like. Great job on her eyes, they truly look wet.

struggled a bit with it.
apart from eyes n lips theres nothing definite to draw. just soft shadows.
its weird! no wrinkles, holes or dribbles!

yeah theres no definition or distingrishing features ha, makes it a lot less fun to draw or paint in my opinion.
In art it makes me re think the the definition of beauty.
