Description
Commission for .Chip Skylark and Ember McLain together on a tour? Well, why not? I had a lot of freedom with this one, so that's why Chip and Ember's band consists of Tony Banks of Genesis on keyboards, Dave Grohl of The Foo Fighters on drums and John Deacon of Queen playing the bass. Thanks to the powers of fan art, you too can drag a retired bassist back on stage one last time!
Also, let's just say that Banks is wearing ear protection that just happens to be out of frame. The poor guy would go deaf in a matter of seconds due to his poor placement right next to a PA tower, lol
Not much else to say about this except that I had a blast making it. Hope you guys like it
UPDATE: Now with correct year in the signature (I'm still living in 2012 it seems)! Also, this is the last pic I have completed on my old computer, all the art released after this is done with my new PC.

I like how John Deacon is there, seeing as Butch Hartman is a noted Queen fan. The Danny Phantom theme song was inspired by Invisible Man off the Miracle album.

That's true, and exactly one of the reasons I put him in there. I was amazed when I heard the theme for the first time and how close it is to the Queen song.

I could believe that. They do look very similar after all.
But then again so do Samurai Jack and the professor from Power Puff Girls (I forget his name at the moment) but they obviously aren't the same person since Samurai Jack was born in the 1200s AD.

As a musician myself I wanted to give some input. Don't get me wrong I love the bands you pulled the other musicians from, but with ember being more heavy metal, tommy lee from MΓΆtley CrΓΌe on drums, Jason newsted on bass from voivod and Metallica would've been better options. Just sayin. Otherwise not bad

Thanks for the feedback. I have to confess, though, that I do not particularly care for metal music so I would not know who to put where. The background band members, with the exception of Dave Grohl, are more there to reflect my own tastes of music. However, I do appreciate that you'd like to see the image "make more sense". Perhaps, if I'll revisit Ember in a similar setting like this, I might put in those particular players in the background.

Aight that sounds good. And if you like five finger death punch at all, maybe putting timmy turner in the setting of him older and performing with them singing on stage lol like have him whereing shorts that go below his knees, converse shoes, shirtless, and maybe a Mohawk that goes to the back of his head and is kinda long with shaved sides and him screaming into the mic giving the crowd the finger lol and no problem on the feedback dude anytime

Hollywood Undead and Linkin Park come to mind as well (although they do incorporate their own styles of rap as well, albeit less frequently with Linkin Park and not in every song for Hollywood Undead). Evanescence, Skillet, and Red would be some other choices of mine, especially Evanescence since Ember's song "Remember" is similar to some of Evanescence's songs.

Linkin park ain't what they used to be. Meteora was their best album and tanked ever since. I was thinking 5FDP, sumn brutal and in your face

I personally still like Linkin Park, especially their song 'Final Masquerade', but yeah their older music is still my favorites from them (Numb, In The End, etc.). Evanescence might still be my first choice though; if you've heard their song Tourniquet', that's the main (and probably only, now that I think about it) reason.
'Tourniquet' mentions suicide and is overall about death, which is fitting to Ember now more than ever since the creators revealed some of her back story on a blog (I haven't found that blog yet, but it's quoted all all over the internet in the same way so it must be true, since some of the lyrics in her song 'Remember' describe these events):
"Ember Mclain was an unpopular teenage girl in the 1970s. One day, she was asked out on a date to the movie theater by a boy at her school, which she accepted, completely overjoyed. She waited for him all night, but he ultimately never came. Depressed and exhausted, Ember went home. That night, she died in a mysterious house fire..."

Yeah, I more or less said the same thing when I learned that about Ember. I grew up with Danny Phantom and I never imagined any of the ghosts having that dark of a story to their life (Ember - probably not her name when she was alive - seemingly committing suicide in the 1970s).

She seemed more like an 80s girl given the outfit and hair and the metal style she plays

I could believe that but the show's creators did apparently say she was a '70s girls. (I'm not sure which blog to look for; all the places that have had that same paragraph of her story copied/pasted onto it didn't leave a source other than mentioning it was on a blog of one of the creators, so I'm not sure where to start looking.)
Her design does seem inspired by Alice Cooper (I looked into '70s bands and singers), so her being a '70s girl isn't too far fetched.

Yeah, that makes sense. (I wasn't doubting it before.) Though I don't know much about anything from before the late 90s/2000s since I listen to Linkin Park, Evanescence, Red, Skillet, Hollywood Undead, Nickelback, etc. the most. (Or at least did, I don't listen to music as often as I used to.)

LOL. Banks is very much alive and kicking, composing new music and all but Genesis itself is pretty much dead after Phil Collins's neck problems forced him to retire. Seeing how badly received Genesis' collaboration with Ray Wilson went, I doubt Mike, Tony & co. will risk making a comeback without Collins or Peter Gabriel as their vocalist.
