Ye Gads the Detail! It looks so strange and surreal, which just adds to the beauty of it being a photo. Congrats on the DD, it was much deserved.

The DD is manditory with a shot this perfect. I love the contrast of colors, yellow and blue, is simply amazing. The detial is very impressive as well, being able to see every little pollen ball on the bee's hairs. I can't think of words to describe the awesomeness that you have captured here in the photo. Instant favorite.

This is amazing. Slightly off balance and I don't know why the bee is purple (am I just slow? O_o), but this is an extraordinary photograph nonetheless!

You've got the perfect focal length, providing for a back-, mid-, and foreground. Not easy in that shot. Bravo!
The contrast between the flower and bee and their complementary colors do a great job of grab the viewer's attention and the amazing detail keeps it.
I also found the rhythm of the yellow stamen, row by curving row, pleasingly maintained in the soft seeds below and even in the "hair" on the bee's back.
I will say, your use of vivid color has two-prongs. Yes, it attracts the eye, but at times it can also make the piece seem a little too saturated.
Regardless, taken entirely, it's a visual treat!

Breath-catching. Full view is a must! The blue bee is so unusual that at first it seems unreal. The detail is magnificent.

perfection.
looks almost alien, which simply tells me you've caught the macro world in its true form (which to me always seems ethereal, other).
Very very very very well done.
