This definately worked well with the sepia colours you have used - with the title being "Ruins of the past". The lighting you've used aswell as the deep contrast are all very well done.

Absolutely gorgeous. The composition, lighting and deep contrast really highlight this piece... I love it.
And yes, you're right, it looks like something straight out of National Geographic.

I saw this a while ago and thought it was awesome, only I didn't get around to commenting and then forgot. Well now I'm back. I have to say, I think this is one of your best photos - I love it. The range of tones in this is simply stunning and really give it such a dramatic look. It would've been nice in colour, but not half as good as this.
I'm so loving the composition. I mean, there's so much to it. It's pretty full, but it looks great. Wonderful depth. I also really like all the lines and the way the material drapes like that. Not to mention the awesome lighting - it really helps to create an awesome atmosphere. Nice subtle shadows. It does look like there's a bit of noise especially on the wall, but it's not that bad. Honestly, this is an amazing shot and you should be proud of this

Excellent Photo Neil! I love how the black and white tones making the picture look and feel so calm...and the open roof looking onto the sky really adds depth to the image. You still using the Canon S400?

wow...
absolutely great style and tones...
you are right to praise yourself, as this is some really good stuff...
One small thing I want to add though... I feel it's a bit too much sharpened, but maybe my eyes trick me after a whole day in front of a monitor...
nevertheless. Great work.

You definitely have a way of capturing a fleeting moment in time - I suppose that's what photography is, really, but you do it very well. The structure of the vertical and horizontal beams to the right are very interesting - just every element of this picture is breathtaking - where was this taken?
