I have one question how can I change the the blue font (hard disk drive (3)Β© (f) (g) , devices with removable storage(2) ,etc) on computer windows to make in black ,i have to hex edit the variant ? can you help me with the address to hex edit , thx again for you time

0x3230 44 65 A2 overwrite with your code.
and
0xC600 00 33 99 overwrite with your code

I gained admin rights over the file, replaced it with yours, now the vista GUI wont load up ;

how do you guys go about replacing this file?

Rename the browseui.dll in browseui.dll-old then copy the new browseui.dll in system32, and restart.

But you can make it sellf with ressourcehacker and replace the image 200-700 in your own shell.
