I seem to always pair Shining Armor and Princess Cadance in the most plausible of situations. But if I don't, who will? Also, I've always loved the idea that Shining Armor, Captain of the Royal Guard, gets insecure when the love of his life is not by his side. After all, they do "lead the Crystal Empire together!". Poor baby.

Shining Armor makes it clear he doesn't want her to leave, so she concedes, and then it cuts to her after she left? I don't get it. How did her giving him what he wanted make him change her mind? What was the punchline?

I don't think the governments in FiM use constitutions, but that power is handed down by those who already have it. The Crystal Empire is a special case because Cadence just showed up and started ruling it, but a happy population does not rebel.

So if no government in the pony world has a constitution, how does anyone know how it's run? With an undefined structure of government, there could be confusion as to delegation of authority, corruption, and possibly anarchy, but I'm not sure.
