Actually, watch the end of the episode, Flutters still had her fangs even in the daylight. The transformation triggers when they smell the aroma of fruit juice or are very hungry. You can't compare contemporary vampires with pony bats because they don't fallow the same rules.

I really wonder how much of the curse remained in her after Twilight's cleansing. her teeth are still a teeny weeny bit pointy, but will it have any other physiological or mental effects?! Who knows! WHO KNOWS?!?!
BTW pointy teeth are cute. Chrysalis was cute with those teeth, although she was a demonic darkspawn leeching ponies energy and consuming an entire kingdom.
