Both for Star and some of us, and well, you guys know my OTP of this series.I mean, c'mon. She lost the book, she lost Glossaryck, and now... (deep sigh).

Voice: It appears that you are reforming.
Marco: What do you mean?
Voice: Well, you are supposed to belong to mewni. But you died. That was before star was born.
Marco: I'm star's brother! But how am i alive?
Voice: Well, you were reborn in a Mexican female. Before you went here, the supersonic moon came when you stepped in the universe core.
Voice: You had moon's cheeks when you stepped in.
Marco: Make it stop!
Voice: I'm afraid i can't.

Inviting Jackie to the Concert was a very stupid move on Star's part
Star needs to admit to herself that she loves Marco,
and Marco Needs to admit that he actually loves Star,
and what he has with Jackie is more of a friendship and a childish crush.
You don't spend 16 years trying to get a pair of dimensional scissors for someone who is just a friend
Marco loves Star very much, to spend what he thought was 16 permanent years of his life.
and with how her magic is corrupted by her emotions
Marco will take notice very soon that things have gone wrong
And Star will be forced to admit her feelings and her jealousy.

but he retained the memories of his extra 16 years
