Oh, hey. It's been three years since I first saw My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.I'll just lay down the gist of the story. YouTube. Self-discovery. No outside inference. Tara Strong. Lauren Faust. Three years later, I still enjoy the show like I did when I started. I sat through all the controversial moments on the show and the ups and downs of this fandom, but I didn't care too much for the drama, because I had my own sense of enjoyment.
I enjoyed it the way I wanted to, and I hope you guys all too. Let it be still as magical as the day you got into it.

Come to think of it, it's also been three years since I first saw the show late into season 2. I think the first episode I watched on TV was A Friend in Deed.

Here here, my friend. It's not often that I comment on someone else's DeviantArt, but this I just had to because I feel the exact same way.
I haven't been in since the very beginning, it was Cupcakes that got me hooked. I actually watched my first episode of this seriously thinking Pinkie Pie was a serial killer, and it took until my fourth to realize she wasn't. Even though I went in expecting something different, I found something better. It gave me a good hobby and something to sink my teeth into. Something I could just enjoy in my own way.
I think with all the controversies and more extreme members of the fan base, it's easy to forget why we're all here: to have a good time and to share in a mutual interest. Keep it up, my friend, I'll do the same.

Thanks for sharing Your Little Pony Story!
I think a lot of people started out thanks to youtube. Β It was Pony Anthologies that got me to watch it. Β I got to Pinkie's Wrap and said, "Ok! Β What the heck is she really saying?" Β Never looked back.
Thank god for this show. Β It lead me to artists like you who have made days and night enjoyable. Β The show is great, but fans like you make it what it is. Β As much as I like to thank Hasbro and Faust for MLP:FIM. Β I thank fans like you. Β Who made it better then it could ever have been alone. Β No lie, no ego stroke. Β With out fans like you, micky, berrysweets, Turag, Dekomaru, Jdan-s, Fluffymixer, Viva, Woodentoaster, JanAnimations and countless fans like you (well over 700 watches and subscribes in my list alone)Β . Β MLP would not be what it is today, to me. Β Or to the countless followers strong. Β

I enjoy it in much the same fashion as yourself. I like it as much as, or rather more than, I used to when I just started out, and I see through any and all "controversy" with a smile, as I know that my ponies are with me, and I am free to enjoy them in any case.

I know how you feel. But I find it stupid that what goes on in a FICTIONAL show can be considered controversial. (like what happens in the plot). Nevertheless I'm waiting as patiently as everyone else (for not so obvious reasons, but still waiting.)

I only discovered the show back at the start of January this year when I saw some forum weapons, lol. I love it still and Season 4 was kind of the first Season I have watched in real time. So I have high hopes for Season 5.
