I was looking back through some of my old artwork and was amazed to see how much I have progressed and grew as an artist in just a few years, so I decided to make a little piece that shows how my work has evolved over a span of 4 years. In order to do this I just stuck with most of my drawings of Dave Matthews since I started off drawing serious portraiture with him. I think it is interesting to see how my technique has evolved over time, as well as accuracy.Related content

egads, you really have progressed! The first picture is great, but in the last one, his face looks almost like a photoshoped picture

That last one is incredible. It's amazing how you can look back and see your work change. I love going through my old sketchbooks and seeing that, this is just out of this world though.
