This is so macabre and dark, like it said in the book, that the Triffids seemed to flourish to the peoples mis fortune, you have grasped that idea perfectly. Amazing artwork!

This looks freaken amaing! I like the triffid the most, the speckles make him look cute.
The roots are amazing, like how thye cover the bones. Only thing that pesters me is the background, not sure why cause it's really nicely done, and the shading on the skulls eyesockets. They don't seem dark enough, like it's just bone there not a space. Might just be me. *shrug*

I'm pretty proud of this. It looks a hundred times better in person. The speckles make me happy.
I understand the background. It kinda just looks like he's floating in space, that there's no environment behind him. But it was supposed to be a book cover, so I don't mind.
I stopped caring when i got to that skull, but i know what you're saying. XD
