Last project from one of my classes was design/illustrate a character. I got 'mcdead fall vampire assassin'. Wanted to do an Asian inspired vampire hunter, but my teach was all like PUT SOME STAKES IN THAR AND ADD A GIANT ASS CROSS ON HER KIMONO. And I was like.... no. So here's a compromise. Ish. She's all-purpose vampire hunter, heh.

European/Western and Asian/Eastern vampires differ greatly. A lot of the mainstream myths of killing a vamp with stakes or them being affected by crosses are not found in Eastern myths due to the fact that cross/stakes/holy water stems from Christianity.

Western vamps are pussies. You want real badass vampires, look to eastern myths. FETUS SUCKERS.

I think my people are getting better.
