I'm still learning how illustrate+colors and removing outlines in the finalized artwork,
balancing lights, tones and texture seems very tricky.

For me it is quite simple right now
As a tip - learn to understand tone and color values and how they are interacting with each other. Color and tone relativity. To practice this look on the photos and remember the colors, transform them into grayscale and see what color represented by what tone, and do the same in your works. If you are using PS there is helpful thing for that - view - proof setup - custom, in popup change CMYK to working gray. With that you will have a gray preview without converting your image to grayscale from RGB. Default hotkey is CTRL+Y

Потрясно) Извините, а что произошло на последнем этапе? Что вы использовали, что картинка так преобразилась?

Я использовал голубой фотофильтр (image -> adjust -> photo filter) а потом transform -> warp mode на одном из каналов и чуть потянул углы чтоб дать смещение каналов (как вариант filter -> lens correction, custom mode и chromatic aberration на одном из каналов), вся картинка должна быть в одном слое. както так
