PS: This matter seems to be much more complicated than I thought. I will need to do research on it and gather the facts before drawing conclusions. Maybe we will enjoy Derpy in the future as well
However, I am surprised how much hate the change of name and voice evoked in Bronies. Sadness and disappointment I can understand, but hate? That is not the Pony way

Indeed, it is really sad but understandable. My reaction when I first heard about it was similar to what a lot bronies are screaming these days.
I stopped pretty soon, though, but I understand very well how these bronies feel.
Either way the behavior of many is really a shame. It makes the whole community look bad and it leads us nowhere.
I hope we find a way to settle this peacefully.

I only watched the Episodes in the last weeks, without following the Pony News or reading on deviantArt. Naturally, it is exactly then that the shit hits the fan
Oh my, I will have to write a Journal Entry about this "Derpygate". I guess this eliminates any chance of Derpy making an appearance as herself in future episodes

The Snout including the lower Jaw is really too big.
But the Eyes could be bigger. Take some Reference from other drawings or Screen-shots, the height of a open Eye is about half of the whole Head.
And the Skull looks four-squared... Dumb to explain, let me show it off with a quick&dirty manipulated version of your Pic: [link] (I'll delete that after you have seen it)
After making the Eyes bigger, they look a little odd and angry, that wasn't intended...
I also tried to give the Tail more Substance, but that one failed. So... it could be a bit bigger/longer in my Opinion, too..
About the Derpygate-Affair:
For now, i cant differentiate anymore between Trolling, rumors and facts, and Hasbro itself still has not reacted to it.
Maybe some hyperactive Law-Departments have picked up on something, but as long, as the Boss (Hasbro/Studio B) has not spoken, i stay calm and keep waiting.

You're totally right about the size of the head. Your shape is much better.
Snout is too big, nothing too add here.
Also the forehead is to flat, making it look like a square-head. I'm really clueless why, because I actually started with a circle :/. Hmm, I'll try and make it better next time.
And yep, eyes should be a little bit bigger. They look extra small here, because I narrowed them from top and bottom to make her look sadder.
So thank you a lot, I'll try and benefit from your advices!
About Derpy: I heard rumors and saw a screen shot where Hasbro answered to a customer's concern about Derpy, claiming they wouldn't change her name, but I don't know if that was real.
