Love the minimalistic design of the telepath and hunter.
So many characters are over-designed and crowded, it's very refreshing.

Aw, thanks! I like Alex Ross' less-is-more approach to costumes, and I feel like it's easier to get a bolder look that way. Leans a bit traditional, but there's nothing wrong with that, right?

Baught this the other day, loved the tutorial! A few things in there I hadn't thought of doing as I'm only just getting into 2d stuff. The art's awesome too. Great work DN! ^.^
edit: P.S, they showed your CoX ashes art, I was like: "Sweet!"

Wonderful to hear that--thanks! The things I go over in the tutorial are tried-and-true standbys and have served me well. Hopefully they'll give you a little boost too.

They're meant to be archetypal characters along the lines of the Justice League or Avengers. So there's a telepath, elemental, gadgeteer, brute, and urban hunter. The tutorial text goes into this in much greater detail and shows multiple possible designs for each archetype.
