Description Hello, everyone!

Never thought I'm gonna say it, but I'm open to receive art orders!
Why am I do it all of sudden? I wrote an answer in the description for this drawing:

Let's be honest, I'm bad at self-promotion. Completely bad. I guess if I was more into fandoms like "Wings of Fire", HTTYD, Pokemon, Monster Hunter etc., it wouldn't be a problem, but that's not my way of the nin... artist.

Just to write [COMMISSIONS OPEN] is a generic and boring thing, so I decided to make a commissions challenge!

What is it? It's like a crowdfunding, where someone is gathering funds from other people in order to complete a certain goal through some steps. My goal is to translate and publish my story called 'The Obsidian Wyrm" into English and post it here with my illustrations. I wrote 16 chapters for now in Russian, but writing is suspended for now (I hope to continue writing after translation reaches ongoing (maybe it happens before)).

The difference between usual crowdfunding and my challenge is that I will get money with my own hands by completing comms of everyone who wants to see their characters to be drawn by me. I will count all the income and show all my the progress here.

I'm still deciding the checkpoints for each step, like when I earn $50 in total I will start redrawing the cover art or when I reach $75 I'll post the translated prologue and will start translation of the 1st chapter.

I don't want to do crowdfunding for two reasons:
1) The money I receive will be used for my family purposes firstly;
2) My story may become disappointing for some people who helped me, so I don't want things to become like that.

So I will count cash transactions for commissions only for the challenge.

To participate in my challenge you should:

1. Check out prices and conditions in my "shop":

Portraits: www.deviantart.com/dniprodrago…
Fullbody sketches: www.deviantart.com/dniprodrago…
Colored fullbody drawings: www.deviantart.com/dniprodrago…

2. Decide what you would like me to draw for you and contact me via Notes or Discord.

3. If I accepted the order feel free to ask me about current progress anytime.

4. When your drawing is ready, send me money through PayPal. After that I will write your name in the list of contributors for the "Obsidian challenge"!

I will be grateful to everyone who will take part in my challenge as a customer. I don't know how many orders I can handle for now, so I can close commissions for some time until I draw everything I supposed to (because I still have my usual job).

The drawing I used for an announcement will be continued, as I will continue my progress.

I drew four dragons there. They're four protagonists of the first part of "The Obsidian Wyrm" story. I decided to give each of them tools for drawing in orded to show the essence of the challenge I named by the name of the story. The idea of drawing is based on my old doodle featuring Agnar and Khrork fighting with pencil and pen: www.deviantart.com/stash/0kh8k…

From left to right:

1) Agnar, the main character. He holds a pencil, the prime tool for almost all of the artists. With this I will start every drawing;
2) Khrork, the big guy. He's a greedy bastard, but I love him. He prefers pen, because ink is visible and is something that cannot be erased easily. For me it's an easy tool to make linearts;
3) Yzmir, the cheerful friend. He wants to become a great person when he grows up, so he will do everything for the drawing to look cool. He took colored pencils and brushes to make drawings look finished. I may use these tools, but I would prefer to paint drawings with virtual brush;
4) Esmira, the thinker. She is blind and she cannot take part in the actual drawing, but she holds an eraser in the case of errors or redrawings. She may not see, but she can feel the composition of the drawing, the mood of it and suggest the right way of drawing, so her role may be crucial in the whole process. I can scrap a lot of sketches, no matter how many time I spent on them, until I make the right one.

Thanks for reading (if you did it)!
