Description
The finished painting I made of Bowser in anticipation of the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie. Went all out. Went with the traditional proportions, rather than the movie proportions. However, the movie inspired me another way. I used one of the movie posters as a reference for lighting and a quick rendition for the background. Was done with no gradients in mind. Rather just always layering different tones and dabbing consistently until I got the result I liked.Painted in acrylic on 16x20 canvas.
