I made a redesign for my redesign of Sidney Poindexter. I wanted to push the mantis aesthetic more and make it feel more 50′s.

. I changed his hands into a more praying like pose like a praying mantis.

. I sharpened more details on him, including his cowlick to make it stick up more like an antennae.

. Gave him puffy sleeves to make his arms feel more mantis like.

. Added more black, especially on his vest.

. Smoothed his face to make it look more like a mantis head.

. Added white dots on his mantis eyes.

. Made his collar sharper.

. Darkened him a bit.

. Gave his blue a slight greenish tint as praying mantis r green and for the ghost connection.

. Changed his shirt tails to feel more mantis wing like.

. Added a crack design of a mantis on his pocket.

. Made his fingers longer.

. Gave him 50′s saddle shoes. Also replaced his white tube socks for darker gray socks.
