So as with the good pictures of Braixen, I have rejigged the Xerneas and Yveltal sculptures too.
This time however I actually changed the pieces themselves. Behold the Re-Varnished versions of Xerneas and Yveltal.
I wanted to see what the fimo semi-gloss varnish would actually do over the gloss varnish. And I'm delighted to say that it works perfectly to not only take away the unsuitable sheen, but also keep the colour depth wonderfully.
These are still for sale on my etsy https://www.etsy.com/ie/listin… But now they are a much more suitable matte finish.

Also for anyone out there like myself whi's trying to find a suitable SPRAY varnish for polymer clay, especially matte, I recommend that you try fimo's semi gloss first. Its not worth ruining something by making it tacky, or having to try umpteen different brands to find the perfect one, that still requires a specific temperature range and humidity to work properly! So yeah from personal experience just deal with having to use brush onss rather then sprays. it will save you Sooooooooo much heart ache.
