This is my entry for 's Origin form contest [link] .
We were supposed to make an origin form for any pokemon. I chose Moltres. I made it look like a dragon because Dragons, in my opinion, are darker than birds. And I love the look of them. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my deviation!
Here is the story:

Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres have eternally been fighting with eachother and with Lugia. The fighting has only stopped once. The severity of the fight all depends on the weather. Once when it was deathly cold outside due to Articuno, Moltres went to seek shelter. All across the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn regions the weather was horrible, making the Moltres's search for shelter that much mor difficult. It flew all the way to the Sinnoh region where Articuno's icy clouds did not reach. When it was flying onto Spear pillar, a giant tail reached from out of a dark vortex and grabbed Moltres around its waist, squeezing all the life out of it. The tail pulled the Moltres into the hole after a long time struggling. When the Moltres was in the Reverse world, it saw a bright light, then darkness, and fainted. When in woke up hours later, the whole Reverse world that it could see was up in flames. It could sense that it looked different, and when it looked into its reflection, it saw a huge dragon with a burning mane looking back at it. I flew back to the place where it had been pulled in, and right as the vortex to the outside world was closing, it flew through it, its form unchanging. It flew back to the Kanto region, because cold did not affect it anymore. It came to its home and suddenly the extinct volcano in its home erupt like a miracle, and spread its heat all throughout the world, melting the ice and snow that articuno brought to the world. Articuno's home then became filled with lava, and would be forever heated until Moltres turned back into its normal self.

The item that switches it back and forth after going in and out of the reverse world is the Burning Garnet. You get it by visiting the Island Moltres dwells on and journeying into the center of the volcano.
