Some of you have come to me before. You're quiet things; polite and honest, sincere and often with words about you. Most of all however you have some doubts that you share too. I've been told by a whole lot of souls of how they look at themselves. That they don't feel like they're good people..that they're terrible, worthless, burdens and perhaps even..wicked. I've been asked before what I believed evil meant..so my dears..sit with me for a moment won't you..?

Evil..what does evil mean to me? Well..truth be told, if you read it backwards you would find it was spelled " Live "

There's a truth in my own eyes that finds a love in all people, even those who believe they are the worst of us. People with problems, people with identities they're not even sure of. People who forget to breathe, to realize they're surrounded by others with feelings and passions of their own even if it is not like their own. Some of us only exist, and others are ghosts, having already felt their world ending...but when any of us extinguishes the love, the thrill, the joy, the dream..from any other.. that..is true evil to me.
If you have ever hurt someone that way..I'm not here to punish you. I'm here to remind you that I haven't given up on you.

When I look at you, I don't see evil. I don't see someone who has given up upon life. I don't see someone who has accepted an identity of what they are not. I see someone who is filled with a lot of uncertainty, and maybe it has been that way for a long time. Someone who wants to be reminded and told they're that beautiful and shining star that made a difference in someone's day. If you've ever come to me for any reason, you already are.

You have a heart there inside you. It can be broken into a thousand pieces over and over. Your worlds can end, and your light can feel extinguished. Though if you're with me here now, I want you to remember these words because they're only for you..

I know you're a good person. I know it can be hard to hear it..hard to see it. I know you're tired. Maybe you're tired because everyone else around you is tired. Maybe you've been hurt so bad and you're afraid of what you are inside. Don't be. You're a whole world of good waiting to happen, and the rest of us are waiting to see that come out of you. So be good to you. I want that so much for you, I really do. You deserve some happiness today.
