Description This is the first page of my comic strip that won the Bellmont Artists Association choice (a regional competition for students) hooray.

Ink on paper - 11x14 - I'm very pleased with it, though parts feel unfinished. [I was on a tight schedule.]

It's an illustration of the classic children's rhyme "The Burning of the School" - you know, "Glory glory hallelujah, my teacher hit me with a ruler" as in I did not write this, it's about the art.

I very like the child eating the books even though it saids "we have thrown out all the books". A cute little twist. The close up of the children's feet are very nice, I could almost see the movement. The shocking last panel is much LOVE. I really don't know what to say for this page!
