Redesigns (and a couple characters I’ve been too lazy to draw before) of the principle cast of Rio Comic!Names (from L to R): Rio, Angelesti VonDracula, Jean-Luke Mannox, Honey Darling, Felicia Duran (human and wolf forms), Rey Salchicha, Ruxandra VonDracula, Kiki Gillman, BeX Brocki-VonDracula, Kaffy Brocki-VonDracula, Professor Johnathan Bink, and Boss Gordo
I’ll probably post close up of the characters later (since this is going to be a monster to view, sorry) but right now, I gots to get my Dim Sum on! Peace out...

I've been thinking about doing something like this, (but my character list has already gone a bit extensive on me). Are Rio's tattoos expanding in scope?

You should draw one! It’s just a matter of deciding which characters are the MOST important (I had to leave off Hyde and Lorilei, among several others because I figured I should keep it to characters who are based in San Francisco and thus actually see Rio and Ange on a semi-regular basis... otherwise this piece would be 50 characters wide.)
And yes, Rio got more tattoos... she was going to get even more, but Kip stopped me (I thought her neck and sternum looked a little bare compared to her sides and arms)

I was thinking of breaking them up by having a pic of all the ninjas, then all the cops, then all the government operatives, but you don't get a nice variety all in a line that way. Also, there are more ninjas than anyone else. It doesn't seem like it should be that hard to decide which ones are important, but the more I think about it the more I want to include everyone with a speaking role (plus Miyuki's client, who didn't ever actually say anything). While I'm up here in WA my days are (intentionally) packed pretty full, but maybe I can start sketching them out.

If you want my opinion on who was most memorable from Oracle of the Swords (not sure if you’d count them as ‘important’ but they’re the ones who stuck with me) here’s my top ten:
Miyuki, Akiko (w/ Lucky), Jeff (as ninja), Lili Wu, Lyta, Daniel Murphy, Clarissa, the Abbot General, Armorer Greene, the man in white (who’s name escapes me, I’m sorry to say)
Those would make a fine line up... but hey, as long as Armorer Greene makes the cut I’ll be happy.

We haven't gotten the Man in White's name yet, but that's just because Miyuki doesn't really know who he is (He's Mr. Lau's son, a Triad "Red Pole" senior enforcer - it's not really a secret I just haven't introduced him yet). With these folks I'd think you also need Alli and Sara, Miranda, Minh, Officer Avila, and the Jade Mantis (the Triad's Lady in White). And Erin as well. And that's just recurring characters of relatively equivalent importance so far.
Also not sure if we want to see ninjas dressed as ninjas, or in their civilian outfits, since it will make them more distinct. But I still have time to think about it - I spent today driving over to the submarine museum in Bremerton, and consequently drew nothing. It's pretty awesome museum if you like submarines, though.
