Description
Privacy is apparently not an issue with birds. They were all enjoying the bath today. Taken on my back deck - Bellevue, WA.Related content

Ooooooh..... this is fantastic and so unique, Steve... how sweet!!!!
Every drop can be seen, and his wet feathers look like uncombed hairs !!!
Love it!!!!

I will sometimes spend and hour sitting here and watching them, and sometimes take dozens of pics just to get the one that has this detail. So I was very happy with it. And he didn't seem to mind too much that I was taking it.

He didn't mind because he was 'dressed'...!
I know how it feels like to be taking tons of photos to
get just one right (IF I'm lucky hahha!)
And... I casually got a similar one, but from a different bird.
It's a bit dark, so I should increase the exposure a bit, but
I'll submit it to scraps (hope to remember) so you can see it.
It's a sequence of three that go together.

Well that's just my luck - I will never get a pic of anyone bathing without the subject being dressed. (sigh)
And "thank goodness for digital cameras!" Without being able to throw dozens away I would never get the few good ones I catch.
Whatever you post, I'll see - I have the option to be notified even when you post scraps - because I like seeing what people shoot - even if it isn't their best. And you're one of the ones I look forward to seeing.
So, I can't wait to see them.

I kept this message unanswered until I could upload those two images...
I'm submitting them to scraps now ...
And by the way, this bird did have all it's feathers on, too...
In a few minutes they'll be there, hope you find them interesting!
(Do you have these birds there in the US? They are called Teru-Teru!)

I saw the pics! They are very interesting (not as much as the bather without clothes on, but you understand).
I have never seen any like them - so I'm not sure if there are any up here or not... at least I've never seen any like it!
