Description "Of course it's not permanent!  Look, here's the antidote pill!"

Trying to mix some bits of reduced movement with bits of lots of large movements.  Getting closer to a nice medium I think.

Is there a mobile-friendly version of this?

The Giantess Love version linked in the description might work?  I'll have to get into the habit of uploading gif versions of these somewhere too.

Ok, so it seems I can see the preview of the gifs in the gallery, but I can't actually view the full animations when I go to their pages on mobile.

I mean, it's no big deal, I have a computer, but I thought you might be interested to hear about that little wrinkle.

Yeah, a few people in the past have mentioned that they don't work on mobile, it's why I did the poll a little while ago:  docop.deviantart.com/journal/p…

The results seem to be that a fairly significant chunk of people view my work on mobile, so I really should make sure I upload mobile friendly stuff.

Devils advocate here Anna. If it was a super tiny pill, how could non-shrunken people see it?

Heh, I'm not sure that will bring her much solace!

Ah, she's just complaining... I mean we helped her carrier, she could take on the role of Tinkerbell now.

Amazing!

I'm wondering about the details of making the shadows for Anna and the hand with the pill.  Their positions seem counterintuitive...?

Yeah, I was kinda slap-dash with the background shadows, I probably should I put a bit more thought into where I projected them.

As one artist to another, I'm curious in terms of technique since I have never gotten anywhere trying to create an animation like this, I'm still stuck with doing the occasional collage. In terms of what's available in the way of editing features, is there a drop-shadow feature to help you create them (like Photoshop bitmapped layers) or do you have to use a more manual process?  The nitpicky issues I noticed were that the shadow color of her head seems different from the shadow color of the giant finger(s), and the giant finger(s) shadow appears to be a different angle too.  Sometimes the shadow of her head is underneath what I think is the shadow of the giant thumb(?) and I'm not clear as to where the shadow of the pill is or should be???

Ha, now that you mention it, I could have just easily used the built-in "drop shadow" effect to create the shadows ... would have achieved the same result, but much simpler.  Basically, the shadows are just a duplicated version of the object (Anna+fist, or the hand+pill) darkened to zero brightness, blurred, increased in scale a bit, and partly transparent.  I then manually moved them where I wanted in the frame, then locked their position/rotation/scale to the main version of the object.  This makes it so the shadow perfectly mimics the Anna+fist or hand+pill objects.

I think the positioning of the shadow isn't too far off ... it's just that the shape is a little confusing because you can't see where the rest of the fingers are on that hand.  They're all splayed out above the index finger, the shadow that slightly intersects the shadow of Anna's head is actually the shadow of the middle finger, which is right up above the index finger.  The shadows are both offset down and to the right of their associated layer, you can see the 'O' of the hand+pill moving around in the bottom right of the frame (the thumb's shadow is in the very bottom right).

As for the shadow colours, it's possible I accidentally placed one of the shadow layers under one of the adjustment layers which had some colour correction.  Oops!

I-I mean, it's not an animation at all, I actually shrunk Anna Kendrick, it's a real video!!

Yes, shrinking them for real is definitely easier.

And much more fun.   But also fraught with the dangers of getting your fingers bitten by an angry new shrinkie.
