fav.me/d3f3iow <-Years back I did this piece, the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE 1955, which is one of my best-selling art prints (available here and on my Etsy, BTW)
and my buddy Bill Farmer - who did the colors - said "You should do THAT as a comic book"... which I thought might be fun but couldn't figure out an angle on just HOW...

Until now....

This is a little preview of what should be an upcoming comic book written by me and Mike DeBalfo (script by Me, this cover by me) with interior art by an as-yet not announced (but super-exciting if it all works out) artist with alternate/variant covers by several artists including Mike. (kickstarter soon...) 55ZOMBIE is the title of the book, with several Hollywood look-a-likes and stand-ins in 1950s Hollywood (including Butch (Elvis stand-in) and Queenie (Marilyn look-a-like)), shown here in Butch's 1932 Ford Hotrod to be dubbed the title character) dealing with a zombie epidemic created by a demon, a hypnotized horror star, and a doctor who may or may not be Ed Wood in drag...
